Throughout the ages, humankind has used art to depict historical events, strongly held ideals and spiritual experiences. These three facets, perhaps, come together no more evidently than in portrayals of the Stations of the Cross.
This book presents the Stations as expressed by two artists; abstract expressionist painter Fr. Bill Moore and mosaic artists Louisa Jenkins. It’s amazing that two artists with different styles, different mediums and from two different times have created works that talk to each other, as well as to the viewer so forcefully.
